Castries North has always been a constituency full of promise. From vibrant communities like La Clery, Chase Gardens, and Morne Du Don to our bustling coastline, the potential for growth and opportunity is everywhere. Yet, despite decades of representation, residents continue to face the same struggles: unfinished projects, poor infrastructure, limited youth opportunities, and uncertainty about land ownership.
The sad truth is that Castries North has been standing still while the world moves forward. Roads remain in disrepair; crown land paperwork drags on for years; and too many young people leave the community in search of better opportunities. Families who have lived here for generations still don’t have the security of title deeds, while small businesses fight to survive without real support.
Growth is not just about buildings and roads—it’s about people. It’s about creating safe neighborhoods; improving schools and after-school programs; supporting local businesses; and giving our youth a future they can believe in. Castries North deserves fresh energy, bold ideas, and leadership that prioritizes action over empty promises.
Our community cannot afford more stagnation. The time for real representation, community development, and sustainable growth is now.
